Why Bother?
Like other forms of noise pollution in residential areas, there is something that can be done about the noise caused by helicopters operating in these areas. If enough of those NYC residents who are affected by the frequent nuisance of helicopter noise, appeal to the elected officials responsible for enacting and enforcing the noise regulations, eventually those officials will have no choice but to address the issue.
This Site is intended to facilitate those who suffer the frequent irritation of helicopter noise pollution by:

Reporting Helicopter Noise Pollution: If you have knowledge of an incident of helicopter noise pollution, please feel free to report it via “Contact Us” link. When reporting an incident, please include the location in New York City, the time of day that the incident occurred, and if possible, try to identify the helicopter by logo decals (i.e. news channels etc.) or even by the FAA Number on the bottom. If you are able to submit photos or video of the incident, it would be extremely helpful also.
Call 311: New York City residents should also report helicopter noise by dialing 311.
