According to the New York Times, Lawyers for the The Friends of Hudson River Park have asked a judge to postpone the lawsuit currently filed by the Friends, against Air Pegasus (operators of the West 30th Street Heliport). The reason for the postponment is said to be that the parties are attempting to conclude a settlement that would hopefully lead to a ban on sightseeing flights from the West 30th street location within a couple of years.
