One less News Helicopter hovering overhead

For some (like those who live in NYC locations where news helicopters habitually hover), it is cause for celebration, as Channel 4 announces today that it is grounding its helicopter. According to the Daily News, Channel 4 has entered into an agreement to share a helicopter with channel 5, in an effort to meet budget constraints. If the television news media really wanted to be fiscally smart, they would take advantage of the countless fixed cameras in locations like the GW Bridge, instead of repeatedly harassing the local residents by hovering overhead at low altitudes.
